Heightened interest in environmental protection has resulted in extensive legislation and a myriad of administrative rules and procedures aimed at safeguarding natural resources and human health. These regulations are at the heart of increasing environmental litigation.

Our environmental law group is experienced in all facets of environmental law. We have helped clients by:

  • Defending claims brought under federal or state environmental regulations, including hazardous materials transportation and disposal, and water and air pollution.
  • Negotiating with US EPA, Ohio EPA, and the Kentucky Department of Natural Resources
  • Appearing before the Ohio Environmental Board of Review
  • Representing clients in Superfund litigation for sites in Ohio, Kentucky and Virginia, serving as counsel to individual parties, participating on steering committees, or acting as liaison counsel for similarly situated parties.

Our attorneys assist clients in the investigation and litigation of:

  • Mold and sick building claims
  • Chemical exposure cases
  • Materials spills on roadways, waterways and rail
  • Above and underground storage tanks
  • Toxic and hazardous waste disposal
  • Air and water pollution cases
  • Residential and commercial construction
  • CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, and OPA claims

To assist us in our handling of these matters, we have a formed a network of top consultants in chemistry, geology, microbiology, industrial hygiene, remediation, and other areas.

Please contact one of our environmental law attorneys to discuss your specific situation and need.
