Jeff’s practice focuses on civil litigation, with an emphasis in the areas of medical defense litigation and health law matters. He represents and is active in the defense of hospitals, physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals against medical malpractice and wrongful death claims. Jeff also has experience representing nursing homes, professional practice groups, and other health-related organizations in litigation matters. He routinely counsels clients on a variety of risk management, quality assurance, medical staff, and other health law matters. In addition, Jeff maintains a diverse appellate practice. He has experience advocating for clients on a wide variety of matters in courts of appeal throughout Ohio. If you ask Jeff about what it is he loves most about practicing law, you might get any number of different answers, but underlying them all you’ll find a keen interest in personal development and relationship. You’ll probably also hear him recite one of his favorite quotes, “Humility is not thinking less of yourself. It is thinking of yourself less. If you focus on others, you forget you.”

  • Appellate counsel for hospitals, physicians, nurses, professional practice groups, and health systems in state and federal courts of appeal.

  • Represents and advises clients in appellate, alternative dispute resolution, and other litigation related matters.
