James’ practice focuses on litigation, with an emphasis on construction law, employment law, civil rights, and professional liability. Beginning with his federal courtship, James has substantial experience with federal court cases, at the trial court and appellate levels. James is often called upon within the office and by referring counsel to prepare and argue appellate briefs.
Will’s practice focuses on civil litigation and insurance coverage. His litigation practice is varied and ranges from construction and commercial disputes to product liability and legal malpractice. His insurance coverage practice includes opinions, litigation, and counseling carriers on policy issues.
Mike’s practice is unique as he can transition from handling cases involving catastrophic personal injury claims, to complex commercial litigation, class actions, product liability and intentional tort claims to professional and medical malpractice claims. Mike has tried to verdict in excess of 25 jury trials in Kentucky, Colorado and Ohio state courts, Federal Courts in Ohio and Kentucky and the Federal Court of Claims. He has successfully argued matters before the Ohio Supreme Court, Kentucky and Ohio Courts of Appeal and the 6th and 10th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Felix is an Ohio State Bar Association Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment law. His practice is concentrated in the areas of employment, appellate, aviation, bad faith and personal injury. Felix’s court appellate background is a key factor in his selection to handle some of the most difficult procedural issues in litigation.
Steve’s practice focuses on business law and the defense of professional liability claims. These practice areas include corporate law, commercial and malpractice litigation. He regularly handles negotiations, acquisitions and leasing of commercial properties.
Named the 2013 Best Lawyers in America “Lawyer of the Year” for Insurance Law in Cincinnati, John’s practice focuses on litigation, with an emphasis on insurance coverage matters. He practices in state and federal courts in Ohio and Kentucky. John also litigates professional liability, aviation liability, wrongful death claims and serious personal injury claims. John is also general counsel for the Western Water Company.
