Paul’s practice focuses primarily in the areas of estate planning, administration of estates and trusts, and federal and state taxation and compliance. In his estate planning practice, Paul works with clients with a variety of needs including the preparation of wills and trusts, education and special needs trusts for children, and more complex trusts for high net worth clients including the formation of limited liability companies, family limited partnerships, charitable remainder trusts, and private charitable foundations. In his estate and trust administration practice, he assists clients with all aspects of probate and trust administration including preparation of necessary probate court documents, the proper transfer of probate and trust assets, the preparation of appropriate tax returns for the estate and trusts. Paul also advises clients on guardianship matters and Medicaid planning. Paul has extensive experience in closely held business entities including formation and operational aspects as well as the acquisition and sale of assets/stocks. Paul also practices in the area of residential and commercial real estate, including section 1031 exchanges, the preparation and review of real estate contracts and closing documents, residential and commercial real estate leases, and landlord/tenant matters. Paul enjoys golf and is a fan of Xavier University basketball.
